CHLOE LEES
Originally from Ireland and qualified with the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music in London, Chloe Lees has spent the best part of 30 years in a variety of education systems, teaching children from 6 months to 18 years to develop and master themselves through the medium of Violin, Cello and musical theatre. She then turned her attention to the field of therapeutic studies in young people and holds a Post Graduate qualification from Leeds Beckett University.

Through her training as a partitioner, she has worked with a wide range of concerns including low self-esteem, anxiety, children with ASD, ADHD, emotional, social and behavioural difficulties, anger, family illness and bereavement, neglect, trauma, separation anxiety, attachment difficulties, bullying and selective mute.

She is an empath and believes a strong, trusting rapport is critical to creating a safe and playful space where the child feels they can regulate themselves, alongside the support required by parents during these challenging phases.

Therapeutic play is non-directive and uses a variety of creative materials (including toys, small figures, art & craft materials, puppets and sand, clay, paints) to enable children to explore their difficulties. Through play, they express their feelings and thoughts, process trauma, feel in control of their responses and make sense of their world as they work towards mastery of their emotions and experiences.

She is fully accredited by the Play Therapy UK (PTUK), registered with the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
