RUPERT FISHWICK
I am a BACP-registered therapist offering individual, couples and family-focused therapy both in-person and online. My approach is rooted in the Person-Centred tradition—compassionate, down-to-earth and grounded in the belief that people are experts in their own lives.

A significant area of my practice involves couples therapy, where I work with partners experiencing communication difficulties, emotional disconnection, conflict, or life transitions such as parenting, loss, trust or identity shifts.

I integrate principles from the Gottman Method, attachment theory and trauma-informed practice, offering a calm and structured space to explore difficult emotions and repair connection.

I also support families and couples through mediation-informed approaches, helping to navigate complex relational dynamics, build mutual understanding and clarify practical agreements. This work often supports separated co-parents, adult family members in conflict, or couples on the edge of separation seeking clarity.

My clients include individuals navigating anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, grief or identity concerns, as well as those facing major life changes. Whether working with individuals or relationships, I aim to foster insight, emotional safety and sustainable growth. Therapy with me offers a mix of warmth, presence, and gentle challenge with direct honesty—with a strong focus on helping you reconnect with what matters.
